Welcome to the Greater Illinois Region of the Classic Car Club of America.
Founded in 1954, our Club has hundreds of members throughout Chicago and Northern Illinois. Eclectic not only describes our members, but the breadth of vehicles they own. Owning a Classic is not a requirement for membership; simply an appreciation for these vintage automobiles. We invite you to become part of our organization.
We at GIRCCA pride ourselves on our social events culminating in all things automotive,
Pride
affording our members the opportunity to peruse some of the country’s finest collections of automobiles. Our public events have garnered us national acclaim within Classic Automobile Circles. GIRCCCA has been the architect behind the Father’s Day Car Show at Oak Brook Shopping Center for over 45 years. This event attracts 70,000 attendees every year, while displaying some of the rarest and most exquisite classic cars from all over the country. This annual fathers day ritual is regarded as one of Illinois’ premiere car events, and has inspired many to continue on in the education and preservation of fine automobiles.

Longevity
our Club Members have developed a diverse appreciation for all things classic. Our public and private car shows, country side excursions, historical home tours, theater events, picnics, and dinners in distinguished restaurants offer our members unique opportunities to enjoy the hobby with our classics. Special Events such as our Arlington Park “Men’s Day” have been on the “Must Attend” list for many in the Midwest. We at GIRCCCA are committed to planning events that are sure to inspire Automotive enthusiasts into the future.

many things in common with one another. Appreciating automotive works of art is only beginning. Ownership of a classic car is not a prerequisite to enjoying the experiences GIRCCCA brings its members. We welcome all devotees, young and old, to come share the joy of some of the finest automobiles in the world.
